WHERE IN THE WORLD DO YOU FIT INTO CLIMATE CHANGE?
Bill Kucha will talk openly (heart and mind) about the roles of humans in the current ecological situation we are confronted with today, and what climate change may mean to us as individuals and as communities.
Bill will talk about possible positive aspects of climate disruption along with solutions an individual might act on to mitigate its negative impacts. He will present not only practical approaches to dealing with this crisis, but delve into the emotional and spiritual implications as well. His presentation will be augmented by showing slides of art work and singing songs he has written that deal with the subject.
Bill is the founder of 350 Oregon Central Coast, an environmental group dealing with the health of Earth’s atmosphere. More information about the organization can be found at http://350oregoncentralcoast.org
The talk, which will include a Question and Answer Time, will be on February 24th at 10:30 at the Newport Visual Arts Center’s 2nd story classroom in Nye Beach. It is sponsored by the Central Coast Universal Unitarian Fellowship. All are welcome.
