Report of a large amount of smoke in the Laundry Queen facility at 432 North Coast Highway in Newport.
Heavy smoke with a thick milky appearance. Newport Fire-Rescue is enroute.

Arriving firefighters say light smoke is coming from the roof.

NO FIRE. Just dryer steam coming from the dryers in the building. Outside temperature at 8:10pm is 36 degrees, headed down to a predicted low near freezing. So steam will be coming out of a number of locations in Newport overnight, no doubt.
