An exploratory spacecraft, launched from the U.S. nearly 13 years ago, has sent data and pictures of an icy outpost four billion miles from Earth. That 4,000 million miles away – just outside out solar system.
Scientists report that the baby grand piano sized explorer craft is ticking right along as it checks out “the neighborhood,” taking readings, photos and records other aspects of what it encounters.
