As some of you may know, antisemitism touched the life of Ernest Bloch many times over his lifetime. The Ernest Bloch Place monument has been draped to honor those who lost their lives to antisemitism this past weekend in Pittsburgh.

Governor Kate Brown ordered all Oregon state flags to be flown at half-staff in honor of those who were ambushed inside their synagogue in Pittsburg. The flags are to be flown at half-staff through sunset Wednesday night.
