Grow Onions and Garlic this Winter Season
Fall is here but don’t put away your hoe and gardening gloves just yet. The best time to plant onions and garlic is from September through November.
Lincoln County Master Gardeners Doug Hoffman and Janice Smith will lead a roundtable to share information growing onions and garlic during the winter season Sep 27 from 9:30 to 11:30 at Oregon Coast Community College, South Beach Campus Community Room.
“Growing onions and garlic is pretty straightforward. We’ll share a few tips and techniques that we use in our own gardens to get great results,” says Doug and Janice. “OSU extension has a number of helpful publications that we’ll share.”
