The water situation in Lincoln City should be returning to normal this morning as a service interruption is being fixed…especially along East Devils Lake Road.
Lincoln City Public Works Director Lila Bradley said mailers and and other notifications went out to residents and businesses along West Devils Lake Road announcing some pipe replacements and upgrades. What they didn’t anticipate was that some of the older pipes in the area – especially serving East Devils Lake Road would give them a massive headache. Problems with valves that they didn’t expect. It’s a very old system. But she says that water should be coming back on line along East Devils Lake Road as you read this news story.
Bradley says if you’re still having trouble clearing your lines…like you have foggy water…just let the faucet run until the water clears up. If you live in a single family home or condo, go outside and run your yard hose until the water de-clouds.
