Are you a teacher looking for local STEM professional development opportunities, or parent of a middle school student interested in a FREE summer camp on the coast? The Oregon Coast STEM Hub has many exciting opportunities available, including the “Finding the Hook” teacher workshop August 13-16, which focuses on using Oregon’s sustainable fisheries to teach about science, technology, engineering and math.
Also, there are still spaces available for students who are going into 6th, 7th, or 8th grade to register for one of the FREE OSU Invention Camps offered in Waldport, Lincoln City, and Coquille.
For more information, and to register for these and other terrific STEM opportunities on the Oregon Coast, go to the STEM Hub’s website at oregoncoaststem.oregonstate.edu and click on “Educators” or “Students and Parents.”
