The YAQUINA RIVER MUSEUM OF ART, a non-profit that sponsors all 1st Weekend events, will show 5 NEW GICLEE PRINTS of paintings by Michael Gibbons from “Yaquina”, a travelling exhibit showcasing the Yaquina Watershed. The Old 1926 Vicarage houses the SIGNATURE GALLERY of Michael Gibbons and is open from noon to 5:pm for the 2-day event as well as Wed. through Sunday. Gibbons has painted a simple view in the Coast Mountain Range of trees and a barn he so loves with foggy background and warm golden grass in the foreground. Coghill lived near Siletz and Frank Jones (owner of the gallery) was a longtime friend. The gallery is featuring a very good selection of his work and invites all to stop by to take a look.
