One man was murdered and a woman nearly murdered during an altercation at a Blodgett area home Monday evening on Tum Tum Road.
Being held in the Benton County jail on charges of murder and attempted murder is Newport resident Jim Morris and Julie Thurman charged with Assault and Theft.
