Central Oregon House Representative for a part of the Bend area, Knute Buehler, performed well Tuesday evening in his pursuit of the GOP nomination for Governor.
He bested a list of GOP challengers as long as a kite tail which will put him head to head with democratic incumbent Governor Kate Brown.
Political observers contend that Buehler’s strong run in the primary means that “moderate” republicans are still out there and willing to vote their conscience, despite calls for pushing the country radically to the right.
