Oregon Coast Community College officials plan high school visits, and an open house event, in preparation for Fall 2018
Oregon Coast Community College is throwing open its doors for anyone considering attending OCCC next year, for a casual and informative open house. High school seniors and their parents are encouraged to attend. The event will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at the OCCC Central County Campus in Newport.
Have a bite to eat with us and take tours of the campus facilities, meet the faculty and staff, get answers to financial aid questions, learn about OCCC’s programs and even enter a drawing for a $500 scholarship.
The Aquarium Science Program building will be open for guided tours from our Aquarium Science Manager. This is a great opportunity to see the remarkable exhibits AQS students have created. There will also be information available about OCCC’s degrees and certificates, financial aid, and student clubs. Also at the event, students who have registered for classes for Fall terms can get their student ID card. Contact Student Services at 541-867-8501 for more information.
OCCC visits high schools
Summer is still weeks away, but at Oregon Coast Community College, advisors are already focused on the fall. In the next few days, OCCC staff will be visiting high schools throughout the county to meet with seniors who may be considering attending OCCC in the fall of 2018.
