6-WEEK FITBIT CLASS
When it comes to reaching your fitness goals, steps are just the beginning. Fitbit can track every part of your day – including activity, exercise, food, weight, and sleep, to help you find your fit, stay motivated, and see how small steps make a big impact.
The Fitbit Fitness Class #10, starts on Monday, May 21, 2018 and runs for six weeks. Weekly meetings are held on Mondays from 1:00 – 2:00 PM. The class consists of tracking steps and miles walked, calories burned, heart rate, sets of stairs climbed, setting SMART Goals, and class discussion/participation. There will also be guest speakers to talk about choosing the correct walking/hiking shoes, proper nutrition, and exercise classes offered here at the Newport 60+ Activity Center.
For the Fitbit Fitness Class we have 8 Fitbits that we loan out for the six-week class. People who already own a Fitbit are also encouraged to join the class.
