Traffic stop lands North Bend woman in the Lincoln County Jail
During a routine traffic stop on Hwy 229 north of Toledo, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Derick Smith discovered that the driver, Jeamilette Myrtha Legare-Morales of North Bend had two outstanding arrest warrant both out of Douglas County. One warrant was for Possession of Methamphetamine and the other for Criminal Mischief and Theft. Legare-Morales was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on these warrants.But while being booked in to the jail, Jail Deputy Mariah Colmenero discovered a baggie of suspected methamphetamine and a pipe in the waistline of Legare-Morales’ pants. Upon further examiniation Deputy Colmenera discovered more baggies of suspected methamphetamine and another pipe located in Legare-Morales’ bra and underwear. These items were turned over to Deputy Smith who in turn further charged Legare-Morales for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Her bail was set at $72,500.
