Lincoln City Warming Shelter needs….
The Lincoln City Warming Center for the homeless has a seven night stretch ahead of them when they’ll be allowed to be open because the overnight temperature will drop below 40 degrees.
Warming Shelter Manager Amanda Cherryholmes is getting the word out that the shelter needs volunteers to help monitor overnight guests and to help them get breakfast and what they need for the day ahead. They also need mens’ pants, sox, shoes, underwear and 100 blankets.
The donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm at the shelter, at 1206 NW 48th Place in Taft.
