NO SCHOOL FRIDAY IN LINCOLN CITY: LC Police investigating possible “Threat” to Taft 7-12 High School
Lincoln City Police are scrambling to get to the bottom of a report that there is a threat against Taft 7-12 High School. Police say they’re investigating the claim that surfaced earlier today. There has been no release of information as to the nature of the threat or who made it or why.
Thursday evening it was determined that there will be no school in Lincoln City Friday, including Career Tech, while police continue their investigation into the threat. The abrupt closure of the schools will no doubt create a child care emergency for many families. The school district has set up a spot on its website to keep parents informed.
