CITY OF NEWPORT INVITES THE COMMUNITY TO ATTEND A CEREMONY TO DEDICATE THE DONATION OF ANDREW RODMAN ART
The City of Newport invites the public to attend the dedication of the donation of three pieces of art by Andrew Rodman. The dedication will be held at the Newport City Hall, 169 SW Coast Highway, Newport, at 5:00 P.M., on Saturday, December 2, 2017. Light refreshments will be provided. The estate of Andrew Rodman donated three linoleum prints entitled “Board Wrecked,” “Undertow,” and “The Dive.” The prints are on display near the south entrance to the Newport City Hall. Andrew Rodman passed away on January 7, 2017 after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. Rodman was a creative writer, artist, musician, and editor-in-chief of Oregon Tilth.
