Gabriel Salcedo
Musical artistry…

Gabriel Salcedo, composer of the original music for the DVD, will be playing
Christmas Classics music on the keyboard each day from noon to 4:00pm during
the opening reception of “Promise” at the Yaquina River Museum of Art.
Gabriel started playing guitar and piano at the age of seven years old. His
father was an avid Spanish classical guitarist and a lover of classical
music. Gabriel grew up in the San Francisco Bay area and led several
successful musical bands in the 70’s. In the 1980s he started his solo piano
career by playing at various restaurants and other special occasions up and
down the Oregon coast. It was at that time that he focused on a style of
original piano music that would be extemporaneous and eclectic. In the 90’s
he started his own music company, True Love Music, where he performs piano,
acoustic guitar and concerts up and down the Oregon coast. The vision of his
company, TLM is to bring together all artists, musicians and people of all
walks of life to become more community orientated and egalitarian in their
approach to others and in their business. CD’s of his music will be
available at the Museum during First Weekend. To contact Gabriel Salcedo
directly, call (541) 404-6007. Light refreshments will be served by the
Friends of the Yaquina River Museum. Museum visitors are welcomed by our
volunteers to the show Wed. through Sundays Noon to 4:00pm through January
30. For more information and to purchase online please visit our new
