Lions Clubs hold Winter raffle to further help the those with sight and hearing disorders and others in need.
Lincoln City/Depoe Bay/Newport – Three local Chapters of the non-profit service club Lions Club International invite coast residents to participate in their first ever Holiday Raffle, to benefit local Lions community projects, such as Sight & Hearing testing in the schools, for seniors & veterans, as well as assistance in providing sight & hearing assistance to those in need. The raffle started November 15th. Tickets are available at Pro-Build in Lincoln City, Beluga Beads in Depoe Bay, & Oregon Eyes Vision Center in Newport or by visiting www.NewportLions.org.
The Raffle is sponsored by the Coastal Lions Clubs & Mill’s Ace Hardware which is offering a new 3500w Briggs & Stratton Portable Generator as the Grand Prize. The tickets are being offered at $3/each, 2/$5, or 5/$10. Only 1000 tickets will be sold and the winning ticket will be selected on New Years’ Eve at a location to be announced. You need not be present to win.
In 2016, Oregon Lions, in partnership with Oregon Lions Sight & Hearing Foundation, provided over 200,000 people in need in Oregon, Northern California and throughout the world with cataract surgeries, hearing and vision testing, prescription eyeglasses, hearing aids, low vision exams, school and community health screenings and much more.
