A Thank You from Ken Gagne of Yachats…

Blackie found a home thanks to good hearts and a commitment to do the right thing!
Ken Gagne photo

Many thanks to News Lincoln County for helping to save orphaned horses by posting on its website both wild mustangs and domestic horses – preventing them from being euthanized and or going to slaughter and finding forever homes. News Lincoln County’s stories about them has saved 5 so far and thanks to all of its readers who have made a very big difference in the lives of these magnificent animals. Here’s the latest happy ending. Some of News Lincoln County’s favorite viewers, Ellen and Cindy from Siletz, adopted “Blackie” who was just a few days away from being euthanized. Suzi Cloutier of Zeb’s Wish Equine Sanctuary, an amazing lady, contacted me to find some help for ” Blackie”. That’s Cindy on the right, Suzy in the middle and Ellen on the left. Blackie is one happy horse to find his new home on their beautiful ranch.
