A survey of Oregon counties has revealed a depressing tidbit of news – Oregon’s housing crisis continues to worsen – lots of talk but not nearly enough construction. Families are having to spend just about everything they make on food and shelter – and not much else. No savings. Nothing for medical co-pays. No savings for their kids’ college fund or a down payment on a house or condo. A form of slow motion down-drift into poverty, if they’re not there already.
