Small avalanche at Hoodoo Ski Area
With warmer temperatures moving in along with more snow, both on the coast and in the Cascades, the National Weather Service is recommending caution in the wild for cross country skiiers. New snow over old snow creates avalanches – which often prove to be fatally unforgiving.
