Slight foul smell at Newport Recreation Center
Earlier reports of a natural-gas type smell at the Newport Recreation Center have proven to be from some other source…but it was so faint as to lead responding fire fighters to believe it was a hiccup in the air handling systems.
No natural gas present according to the meters the fireguys were carrying around with them.
All clear at the Recreation Center.
