This season’s flu vaccine is a winner…
Samaritan Health Services encourages everyone to get their flu vaccine to help reduce their chances of getting the flu.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the strains of influenza that have been seen so far during this flu season have been well matched by this year’s vaccine.
To avoid spreading the flu, anyone showing flu symptoms, such as cough, fever, sore throat and body aches, should avoid entering the hospital unless seeking medical care or for a scheduled appointment.
Flu shots are available at Samaritan Health Services clinics, hospitals and pharmacies.
