Lots of snow in the Willamette Valley. Roads, highways and I-5 became skating rinks yesterday. Remain so today. Don’t drive if you don’t absolutely have to. Driving conditions to improve by this afternoon.
Note from Steve: We had a little snow last night. Oregon is typically not prepared for such an event. Here in the valley we may have gotten 6 inches of the white stuff and it has, for the most part, brought things to a halt. A drive that would normally be 45 minutes was 4 and a half hours! It is suppose to warm into the 40’s today and in short order the snow and ice will be gone and then back to “normal.”
