The National Weather Service says weather experts are gleaning a large amount of data to support the conclusion that this Winter will be wetter and colder than normal. It’s what happens when the dominant weather scenario slips from El Nino to La Nina. So, our area will likely get well above normal rainfall at the lower elevations and heavier snowfall in the mountains. We’re likely to see a little rougher Winter than we’re used to. A more detailed long-range Winter outlook will be released by the National Weather Service next Thursday, November 17th.
