YACHATS CELTIC MYSTERY GAME
Yachats Celtic Music Festival – Nov. 11-13, 2016
Roll Up for the Mystery Game – Family Fun – Win Prizes – Search for Clues – Interrogate Suspects – Solve the Mystery!
This year’s mystery, “The Voice from Bloody Water Well,” takes place in 1887. Ben O’Wandren, a drifter who works the land, is found dead in Bloody Water Well. Was he pushed, poisoned or worse? Some claim it was a Banshee that lured him to his doom. Others look for motives among the people of Yachats. “The Voice from Bloody Water Well” is the 10th Murder Mystery written by Toledo author/artist Ram Papish.
Things get started at the Celtic Music Festival Meet and Greet at 4 PM Friday, November 11. Suspects will make brief statements. The main event gets underway at 9 AM, Saturday November 12. Participants can purchase a packet containing information on how to solve the crime including the suspect statements presented Friday night. Packets cost $10 and can be picked up from 4-6 PM Friday or 9 AM – 2 PM Saturday at the Celtic Festival Registration Desk. Ital will reveal the murderer – and award prizes to the winning investigators. Prizes are Gift Certificates donated by our Yachats business community.
