Tackling and tazing Malheur occupier’s lawyer in federal court creates quite a legal stir.

After the not guilty verdicts were read, related to the Ammon Bundy group’s occupation of the Malheur Wildlife Refuge, the main defense lawyer wasn’t content to leave the proceedings on that note. He wanted Ammon Bundy released despite Bundy and others still facing federal charges in Nevada. A Nevada federal judge had ordered that Bundy not be released from custody because he and others still faces federal charges stemming from a similar Malheur-like incident near Las Vegas where guns were drawn and actually aimed at federal agents who were removing Bundy family cattle that were illegally grazing on federal lands.

But Bundy’s lawyer would not have any of it. He boisterously demanded that Bundy be freed. Moments later the attorney was tazed and shoved to the courtroom floor handcuffed handcuffed.
