It is with bittersweet feelings that I inform you that Cristina Clerico, case manager of nearly a decade, will be departing Lincoln County and Samaritan House to return to her home state of Utah. Cristina will welcome her first grandchild this winter! Although her absence will be felt from the many projects and initiatives that she has created and led, we congratulate her and wish her happiness and prosperity in her new chapter of life!
Samaritan House will be hiring a case manager in the coming month. The new hire will have the opportunity for cross-training with Cristina before she departs. The job listing can be found by clicking here.
Please feel free to distribute this listing to anyone who may be interested, we want to consider a broad and diverse group of candidates. Right now the position is listed part time (25 hours) and is limited to case management tasks primarily. If the chosen candidate has the skills and desire to lead resident education and take on other partnership activities the position may be increased to as many as 30-35 hours per week.
Cristina will also be recruiting a new coordinator of the Second Home program, which partners homeless and unaccompanied youth with host homes for the purpose of finishing school. For more information about that position and how to apply, please contact Cristina directly.
We look forward to bringing a new player to the Samaritan House team and continuing to shelter, educate and guide homeless families toward independent living!
Lauren (Lola) K. Jones, Executive Director
