State hits herbicide chopper pilot with $10,000 fine & flying suspension – more for the spray company
About a year ago in Douglas County, a heavy equipment operator videoed being flown over by an illegal forestry herbicide spraying operation. The video went viral on the internet. The chopper pilot was turned in and told he was grounded. But he kept flying and spraying anyway in defiance of the order.
