Malheur Wildlife Refuge occupier leaders will go on trial starting September 7th in federal court in Portland. Prosecutors contend that although the action was claimed to be a free speech exercise, when occupiers showed up with guns and threatened anyone who opposed their occupation it was no longer free speech – it was a criminal act.
