Fire Alarm at Best Western Hotel north of Walmart
4:35pm – Big evacuation going on at Best Western Hotel off 101 just north of Walmart due to a sounding fire alarm.
4:41pm – No fire. Now word yet on what caused the alarm to go off. People still waiting outside for an all clear from the alarm company. Newport Fire-Rescue is outside waiting to leave.
5:12pm – They find a bad sprinkler head. Now firefighters can return to headquarters.
