On May 31st 2016 a citizen called the Toledo Police Department to report that his vehicle was taken sometime over night from out front of his residence. Officer McCandless responded and obtained all the information needed to enter the vehicle into the computer system as stolen.
Later that evening around 2344 hrs while on patrol, Officer Crocker observed a black sedan parked in a church parking lot on the corner of NW 11th and NW A St with several people around the vehicle. They appeared to be changing a flat tire. Officer Crocker recognized the vehicle as the one stolen earlier.
With assistance from the Lincoln County Sherriff’s office and Oregon State Police, all parties were contacted and the vehicle returned to its rightful owner. ID belonging to another party was also found in possession of Patrick McKillop-Skeahan.
Patrick Scott McKillop-Skeahan was arrested and lodged at LCJ for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Theft I, Criminal Mischief I, Identity Theft and Parole Violation.
