Billie Jo Smith, Mayor of Toledo; Candy Golden, Volunteer & Board Member in
the Yaquina River Museum of Art School House exhibit & office in Toledo.

Toledo’s Mayor Billie Jo Smith wants to meet YOU, the general public, and chat about Toledo. The Mayor moves to a different business each month and Wednesdays in May she is at the Yaquina River Museum of Art, (YRMA) 151 NE Alder St., in the 1887 School House exhibit & office. She invites all to have coffee with her and chocolates and to view the art on Wednesday, May 25 at 1:00pm to 3:00pm.

Billie Jo has always loved art and wishes to share with all a paragraph she
has written about the museum:

“It is through the arts that our culture is honored and remembered. The
artists in the Yaquina River Museum of Art and throughout Toledo are
depicting the beauty of the coast, rivers, and forests around us, as well as
the human culture and built environments.” Billy Jo Smith, May 18, 2016

For more information about YRMA which was established in 2002 as a
non-profit institution, please go to www.yaquinarivermuseumofart.org and
visit the School House Wed.-Sunday from Noon to 4:00pm where volunteers will
be pleased to show you the art. Admission is always FREE!
