From Belinda Goody, Chamber Director
The Toledo Chamber has been actively pursuing new members and encouraging renewals for existing members. Since December, our membership numbers have nearly doubled and we continue to grow and expand our following.
Last month we sent invitations to an additional 320 potential members who provide services to Toledo from outside the area, but you too can be advocates and invite others to join us.
Our Board of Directors seeks to extend our reach to areas outside of Toledo to create the “Greater Toledo Chamber of Commerce” which would include Siletz, Chitwood, Eddyville, Burnt Woods, Elk City and other rural areas which would benefit from being a part of the Toledo Chamber.
For those potential members outside of Toledo, joining the Toledo Chamber allows us to help promote your services and fill in the gaps for services not currently offered in Toledo.
We would also encourage those businesses who are looking to expand to consider Toledo’s Main Street and Highway 20 locations. Often times, rents are much lower than in surrounding areas. We also have a current listing of most of the vacant buildings and retail/commercial properties for rent with owner contact information.
The Board is also seeking additional members who are able to be active, attend regular monthly meetings and events.
We look forward to working with you soon!
