Update on the search for Katy Roe, 22, of Depoe Bay. Missing for 9 days.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office received an investigative tip over the weekend of a piece of clothing that may belong to missing person, Katy Roe. After further investigation and consultation with the family, it was confirmed the article of clothing does belong to Katy Roe and was in her possession the night of her disappearance. The piece of clothing was found by a citizen in the Depoe Bay area near the shoreline. The Lincoln County Major Crime Team continues to work through leads and information from the tip line and considers this an active investigation. A $3,000 reward had been offered for information leading to the safe return of Katy to her family. See details at http://www.bringkatyhome.com.

MISSING PERSON UPDATE ON KATY ROE, 22, OF DEPOE BAY
The Sheriff’s Office would like to confirm two points about the on-going investigation of the disappearance of Katy Roe, 22, of Depoe Bay who left the Wing Wa bar early Sunday morning intending to walk to her home on So. Point Drive.
There has been no activity on Katie’s cell phone from the time of her disappearance.
The clothing found in Depoe Bay earlier today, does not belong to Katie.
Katie Roe disappeared the early morning of Sunday, April 17th, from Depoe Bay. As part of the continued investigation and search, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office activated the Lincoln County Major Crime Team (MCT). The MCT, Lincoln County’s interagency law enforcement team, is assisting with interviews, tip line calls and additional investigative tactics.
Citizens are encouraged to continue to pay close attention for any information that may lead to Katie’s whereabouts or that may assist in the investigation efforts. Citizens can call the Sheriff’s Tip Line at (541) 265-0669 to report any new information they may have.
