Rainspout Music Festival is thrilled to announce their 2016 schedule and roster of artists. The 3 day celebration will feature 11 acts, 2 public hosted jams, and a May Day Dance complete with a Maypole.
Festivities begin Friday night April 29 with performances by ‘Three Twins and a Fish’ , ‘Bad Weeds’, and ‘The Blackberry Bushes’. The festival continues Saturday morning April 30, with a bluegrass jam hosted by The Blackberry Bushes, followed by West African Drumming and Dance, performed by Rhythm Village. We then travel to Brazil for the sounds of Rio Con Brio, capping the afternoon with a special solo concert by Lincoln County’s own Joe Dobroe. Sat night features ‘They Went That Away’ John Browne, and Stumptown Swing. Sunday morning features a jam and performance with John Browne and Friends. Franz Paul and Son of the Beaches in concert kicks off the afternoon, and a May Day Dance with Maypole, featuring Zydeco rockers Etouffee, finishing out the afternoon. All events are at the Yachats Commons.
