Clean Water Newport is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting on the fluoridation ballot measure 21-164 Tuesday, April 19 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the PUD Building at 2129 N. Coast Highway in Newport.
The event is free and open to the public.
Clean Water Newport will make a brief presentation on fluoridation and then welcome questions from the audience.
Newport residents will vote on fluoridation of Newport’s water in this year’s primary election May 17. Ballots will be sent by mail in late April and residents can begin voting as soon as they receive them. Voters pamphlets with arguments for and against fluoridation will be sent in mid-April.
