A woman has called in to report that her, her husband, and their dog are surrounded on three sides by water east of the north end of the bridge, and have an unscalable wall on the fourth side. They say there is no immediate danger but they are unable to get themselves out of the situation. Seal Rock Fire, Central Coast Fire, and Yachats Fire have been called on to get them out.
Fire personnel have been on the bridge keeping eyes on the subjects. Surf rescue units have just arrived at the port docks in Waldport and are readying for launch.
Two rescue jet-skis are making contact with the trapped beachgoers, more than likely trying to figure out how to get the 95 pound skittish dog safely out of the situation along with the caller and her husband.
All subjects are out of the water. Fire units are returning to their stations.
