Tree hits car on Alsea Highway east of Waldport
A motorist on Alsea Highway has had a tree fall on his car in the 7300 block. He’s trapped inside. Emergency responders are enroute.
6:10pm
Victim is out of the car and is walking around. Seems to be okay. Tree blocking westbound lane.
6:29pm
Traffic control is established. Fire crews are working to remove the tree from the highway.
6:38pm
Oregon State Police trooper taking over the scene. Fire has removed the tree from the highway and traffic will be restored when the tow arrives to remove the vehicle.
