Lincoln City: OSP SWAT and Lincoln City Police go after suspected drug dealers
Lincoln City Police called in the Oregon State Police SWAT Team this morning just before 6am to raid a suspected drug house on 28th, between Mast and Lee.
Neighbors were awakened this morning to the sounds of what are called “flash bangs” used by Oregon State Police SWAT Teams to startle and disorient anyone inside. Armed with a search warrant the SWAT team quickly took down everyone inside, arresting Andrew Sakrin, 47 of Lincoln City and Anthony Curran, 24 also of Lincoln City. Sakrin was charged with the possession, manufacturing and delivery of meth and possession, manufacturing and delivery of heroin. Curran was arrested on multiple warrants for probation violations.
Police Chief Keith Killian said due to the “high risk factor” of the suspects SWAT was called in to get the job done swiftly and safely as possible.
