They just spent their last dime buying it. Driving home it caught fire. Now what?

Fire gutted the engine and most of the driver’s area. The living area survived thanks to quick action by Redmond Firefighters.
Brian and Nichole scramble out and called 9-1-1, along with some others who saw what was happening. Redmond Firefighters arrived very quickly and managed to limit the blaze to the engine and driver area. But it was obvious it’s going to take some big bucks to get it back to any kind of shape that they can live in it. If they can at all.
Brian said the seller told him it ran great and demonstrated that it did. Brian handed over $850 dollars and they drove away with it. But as they headed north from Quartz Street, Brian sensed there was something wrong with the motor. As they coasted to a stop near Obsidian, Brian said he heard a pop. And the fire just took off.
Brian went back to the guy who sold it to him but the guy said, “Sorry, you bought it as is. It’s not my problem” and walked back into his house.”
If a lot of people just give a little, Brian and Nichole can get through this. Real people helping real people.
