The Volunteer Fair will have non-profits from Yachats to Lincoln City and will cover East County as well.
This free event is co-sponsored by the Shilo Inn and Representatives from local Lincoln County non-profit organizations. Non-Profits will be available to share their missions and programs and describe volunteer opportunities. Community Organizations span a range of work and issue areas, such as environmental conservation, homelessness, animal rights, elderly and disabilities, poverty, youth education and many more. Many of these non-profit organizations depend on local volunteers. Come be a part of building a great community! Volunteers are the glue that hold many non- profits together.
Volunteering has many benefits. It can increase job skills, provide networking opportunities, create new friendships and can provide a sense of purpose and accomplishment. Volunteering can transform your own life, as well as others, in so many positive ways.
