Oregon follows thirty other states in publishing the top 100 citizens and companies for overdue taxes
Oregon Department of Revenue (DOR) has joined the ranks of thirty other states in resorting to publicly listing the top 50 citizens and 50 businesses that are delinquent in paying their state income taxes.
In a news released to the news media, DOR says every effort has been made to collect these tax debts including filing liens on their homes and businesses. But they say, nothing has worked. So up go their names. One of them lives in Gleneden Beach. But most of the are from Portland and the Valley.
