The City of Waldport is holding a series of public meetings to update its Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which will include refinement of the Open Space plan.
All meetings are open to the public, and will begin at 5:00 p.m. at Waldport City Hall, 125 Alsea Highway. Meetings have already been held on the topics of “Entertainment/Proposed Amphitheater” and “Organized Sports and Games”, but three additional public meetings will be held in February and March.
Dates and topics are as follows:
February 22 – Individual Sports and Recreation
February 29 – Natural and Cultural Resources
March 7 – Trails, Bicycles and Linkages
Additionally, the City has created a survey to help assess the needs and desires of the community: To offer your thoughts and feelings about it just click here. The survey is open to anyone of any age, whether they live in Waldport or not. Paper versions of the survey are also available at City Hall.
