CHAMBER SEEKING SUPER AUCTION DONATIONS
Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce Board members are actively visiting local businesses seeking donations for the 2016 Super Auction on Saturday, February 20th. The auction is the largest Chamber fundraiser of the year and helps support many Chamber programs. It is not necessary to wait for that solicitation, however, as those interested in making a donation are encouraged to contact the Chamber of Commerce or any Chamber Board member.
Donating to the Super Auction will bring pre-auction publicity to businesses via media release, the Chamber website and Facebook. The earlier the Chamber receives the donation the more publicity the donor receives. Photos and details of the donated items will be posted on the Chamber’s Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Super-Auction-II-the-Sequel/314389771932923?fref=ts as soon as the Chamber receives them.
The auction will be held at Aces Bar & Grill and will be open to the public. Those who wish to attend virtually may watch the auction as it streams live on the Chamber website, www.LCchamber.com. Those not in physical attendance may call in their bids.
“Volunteers and sponsorships are both needed and much appreciated,” said Nonni Augustine, Chamber Executive Director. “The Super Auction is always a fun event and it allows participating businesses the best kind of promotional recognition. Our entire auction operation runs on volunteer manpower. If you would like to operate a camera, answer the phones or help in other ways just call the Chamber office.”
