Siletz Fire is responding to a report of trees across the roadway about 9.5 miles up Logsden Road, as well as a report of a tree on fire in the same area near the creek.
Siletz Fire engine arriving on scene. Tree blocking the entire roadway, and a power line down and on fire on the south side of the road. Requesting CPI respond to the scene.
2 lines down, resting in a tree, which is causing the fire. No damage to any power poles.
Fire is extinguished. Now it’s time to work on the trees in the road.
Siletz Fire crews sill waiting on CPI. County roads is removing the trees and awaiting the arrival of CPI to handle the downed lines. The two lines down have become entangled and are on the roadway.
Siletz Fire engine crews have cleared their original location and found a power pole snapped in half on Moonshine Park Rd, with lines down, no sparking or arcing. It is blocking the roadway.
