NOAA says the sun just recently spit out quite a fireball that exceeded what might be called the surface of the sun. The pulse put out a very large electromagnetic wave speeding out toward the planets of the solar system – a phenomenon that produces what’s called “The Northern Lights” – a long lasting rainbow dance across the sky.
Wednesday and Thursday night we might see those dancing rainbows above our own heads. No health threat. Just look up and enjoy.
