From Lincoln City City Hall:

Lincoln City Seeks Proposals for Purchase and Development
of “Fernwood” Section of the Villages at Cascade Head
The City of Lincoln City is soliciting interest in the purchase and development of the “Fernwood” property, part of the Villages at Cascade Head planned unit development.

The City invites developers and development teams to submit their qualifications for the acquisition and development of this significant 11 acre site.

This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is an opportunity for developers to demonstrate their capability to acquire and develop a residential neighborhood on this property. The City is seeking responses from experienced, creative developers and development teams willing to enter into a private-public relationship in accordance with the principles and procedures outlined in this RFQ.

Development teams might include developers, architects, landscape architects, planners, and other professionals.
Fernwood is located at the northern end of Lincoln City on the Oregon coast, about 85 miles from Portland and less than a mile from the beach. This site offers a development opportunity for a residential project near significant shopping and recreational attractions, including the Chinook Winds Casino and the Chinook Winds golf course. Fernwood is a part of the larger 400+ acre Villages at Cascade Head planned unit development.
Responses to the RFQ are due no later than 4:00 PM on Friday, January 22, 2016. A selection of two to five finalists will be made, with presentations and final selection to follow. Inquiries regarding the RFQ should be directed to City Manager Ron Chandler. Submittals should be sent to Planning and Community Development Director Richard Townsend.
The full Request for Qualifications can be viewed on the homepage of Lincoln City’s website at www.lincolncity.org under “Current News”.  Or just click here.
