Pew Research, the gold standard of public research and surveys, has just released a study that shows America’s middle class is shrinking fast – today less than half of American families are middle class.
The report just issued shows that of 2.9 million good paying jobs created since the end of the five year recession, 2.8 million went to those who have a college degree – a disturbing trend that suggests those who don’t have a degree are being kicked to the curb – destined for a life of low income, if not poverty. Yet the cost of a college degree is increasingly out of reach as families fall farther and farther behind.
