The Lincoln City Warming Shelter on the north end of Lincoln City, located at the Congregational Church on NW 25th behind Kenny’s IGA, is OPEN again tonight, Thanksgiving Day evening, beginning at 6pm.
Those seeking a warm shelter from the freezing weather are invited to come. A place to sleep, blanket and pillow will be provided. There will also be a warm dinner and breakfast and a lunch to take with you the following morning. The shelter is open at 6pm, closes its doors at 10pm and those in the shelter must leave by 8am in the morning. The south shelter location is NOT open at this time. With predicted below freezing temperatures for Friday as well, November 27, the north shelter is likely to be open another night.
